MTV Reality Star Ruthie Alcaide Catches Up with Lanai & Brook

Brook Lee & Lanai Tabura talk story with Ruthie Alcaide on Hawaii’s favorite podcast, It's a Hawaii Thing. Ruthie Alcaide is a local Hawaii personality who found fame on the popular MTV series Real World Hawaii in its 8th season of the hit show.
Shot on location on the Diamond Head estate the then 21 year old Filipina went on to be one of the most Endearing breakout characters from the show. Ruthie continued her partnership with MTV, appearing in two seasons of Battle of the Sexes as well as the Gauntlet 2, and the Duel 2. Ruthie has gone on to become a motivational speaker as well as appear in movies like No Answer (2010), Reality Obsessed a Documentary (2010) The Rainbow Bridge Motel (2018) which she also co-produced. She recently co-produced What Lies West which should come out later this year. Ruthie currently resides in Southern California but remains a local Hawaii girl at heart.
