Brook Lee And Lanai Tabura Co-Host New Hawaii Lifestyle TV Show And Podcast.
Presented by the Hawaii State Office of Elections and Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the “It’s a Hawaii Thing” television show and podcast debuts this Monday, June 1 at 6:30 pm on Spectrum Cable’s Channel OC16.
Co-hosts Brook Lee and Lanai Tabura will interview local celebrities, artists, community leaders and more on this fun, new weekly program dedicated to anything and everything unique to life in Hawaii. “I’m so excited to team up with Lanai and talk-story with the many colorful personalities that make Hawaii the truly special place that it is,” said Brook Lee, media personality and former Miss Universe. “From food and fashion to art and music, no topic will be left unturned in this entertaining but informative platform we are creating together.” Social media personality and “foodie” content creator Lanai Tabura adds, “This new channel allows me to apply experience from appearing on the Food Network and producing Cooking Hawaiian Style to encompassing all the many quirky, unique things about Island life.
We want to keep the environment loose and spontaneous, ensuring the show is entertaining for both Kama’aina and fans of Hawaii from around the world.” Guests during the month of June include movie actress Amy Hill, who currently plays “Kumu” on the hit network television show Magnum P.I., and veteran Hawaii comedian Andy Bumatai. Best known for his supporting role in the blockbuster Spider-Man movie series, Damien High School graduate and actor Jason Batalon also joins the show alongside Kristi Yamaguchi, Hawai’s Olympic skater turned actress & philanthropist. New “It’s a Hawaii Thing” episodes release each Monday at 6:30 PM on Spectrum Cable’s OC 16 during the months of June and July.
