Billy Kemper | A Champions Story Of Perseverance, Training & Family

Who is Billy Kemper? A Maui born World Surfing League Athlete, Big Wave Tour Champion and four-time Pe'ahi Challenge winner. The 30-year-old surf champion is married to Tahiti Kemper, a personal trainer, and the couple are proud parents of four boys aged 3,5,10,11.

Kemper’s wins include 2015 World Surfing League (WSL) Big Wave Tours first Pe'Ahi Challenge, 2014's WSL's "Ride of the Year," 2013's WSL "Wipeout of the Year" and the 2012 Steep and Deep Pipeline Photo Challenge. Recently Kemper returned from Morrocco in 2020 where he was hospitalized for a significant surfing accident. Currently, Kemper is working on a documentary to highlight the discipline and dedication that made his surfing journey successful.
